Ronnie joined his maker on Sunday, March 17th, 2019 after having a stroke a week ago. He is survived by his wonderful wife Elaine; daughter Laura and husband Dan and granddaughters Cameron and Shelby; daughter Amber; daughter Leslie and husband Albert and new baby Adam; and son Chris.
Ronnie was the heart of this Houston Section. He welcomed all, enthusiastically preached about the wonderful life the corrosion industry gave him, and kept us all smiling. He saw the very best in each of us and helped us all strive to be better than we thought we could be. He was unapologetically optimistic, kind and energetic. He gave willingly of his time to friends, to NACE and to his family. I think I can say on behalf of every member he met, he made a difference and he was a friend. He shall be missed more than words can say. NACE Houston has had our bright light extinguished but I hope all of us will go forward taking Ronnie's positive spirit with us in everything that we do.
